Family Photo

Hooray! We finally have a photo to put in the frame that has been sitting empty on our entertainment center for oh...2.5 years.

3 Months

We took about 50 pictures and about 45 of them were blurry because she was moving...
Here are Hadley's 3 month stats:
Weight - 13 lbs 15 oz - 75%
Height - 24 3/4 in - 95%
Head - 37 1/4 cm - 25%

Hadley has been so much fun this month:
-She has started this cute happy squeal/scream. She is constantly doing it. I can't wait for it to make it's church debut.
-She rolls from her back to her front (only to her left) practically every time we lay her down.
-She has begun drooling and drooling and drooling. Her Dr. said she wouldn't be surprised if her bottom teeth come in by her next appointment.
-She is still smiling, smiling, and smiling. She is a very content baby about 98% of the time.
-She went on her first road trip. We went to Utah and Idaho for three weeks (yes, I still need to blog about that) there she was blessed (should probably do a post about that) and she attended Aunt Nicole's wedding (that too :) Hadley was VERY good in the car. On the way there, we only had to stop twice!
-She went on her first trip to Disneyland!
-She learned to take a pacifier!!!
-She has discovered her hands and her fingers. It is so much fun watching her discover things with them.
-She has started to hit and grab her toys.

We just love our little Hadley girl!

Grrrrrross!

This is what happens when Mom is busy working and Hadley is rolling over by herself.

No wonder she was being so quiet...just busy playing.

Fun With Grandpa!

After having a major blowout, Hadley was having some fun with Grandpa while waiting for her clothes to dry. I'm not sure who was having more fun, Hadley OR Grandpa.

2 Months

I hope to someday post more often then just when Hadley reaches a milestone age...but unfortunately, blogging seems to be getting lower and lower on the totem pole; however, earlier this week, Hadley hit the two month mark!
the classic 2 month shot

I love this picture of her

are we done yet???

When I look back to when she was born, I can't believe how much she has changed!
During this past month Hadley...
-rolled over from front to back twice
- went to a Dodgers Game, a Faith Hill concert, on a day long shopping excursion, met my coworkers, and visited Dad on campus twice
- slept through the entire night (from 10/11ish to 6/7ish) for the past two weeks!!!
-smiles, giggles, and jibber-jabbers all day long
-loves playing on her playmat and staring at the little animals
-is figuring out how to move her hands to reach and touch things
-loves to sit and smile at her dad
-has thrown countless tantrums in the late evening hours
-getting really good at holding up her head
-LOVES the bathtub
-had two infected fingers (???) that we had to make a quick trip to the Dr. about. Her doctor put her on a very strong antibiotic, which resulted in an awful diaper rash.
-has started enjoying her carseat a little more
Like I say in every post, we are so in love with this little girl! It is so fun to watch her grow and learn.

6 Weeks

Here are Hadley's 6 week stats:
Weight - 11 lbs 2.5 oz - 85%
Height - 22 1/4 in - 75%
Head - 37 1/4 cm - 25%

She had to get her 1st round of shots. The Dr. prescribed us some numbing cream to rub on her legs an hour prior to the appointment, so when it came time for the shots it was no big deal. She fussed a little bit--definitely not the scream I was bracing for! She screamed more yesterday when I was taking her picture!

One Month!

It's hard to believe that an entire month has already gone by!

Hadley has been growing and growing and changing so much!
She gets more alert and active daily.
She is so good at tracking and making eye contact.
She coos and makes the cutest little noises.
She is on the verge of smiling (on purpose).
She loves to be held and is quite the little cuddler.
She is a good little sleeper. Since she has been born she hasn't woken more than twice in the night and for the past couple of weeks it has only been once each night! (I don't think we realize how lucky we are!)
She is very good at screaming and has quite the set of lungs on her!
She doesn't really love sleeping in her car seat unless it is moving, when she wakes up and realizes she is strapped in, it is quite traumatic!
We love her so much and can't imagine life without her!

Visit from the Christensens

Kyle's family came to meet Hadley and celebrate the 4th of July with us! All of the family (minus a soon-to-be brother-in-law--Nicole's fiance Chad [the reason Keith is flashing a "U" behind Nicole]) was able to come. We had so much fun going to the beach, visiting some beautiful gardens, and of course shopping! Many of these trips were firsts for Hadley, so I was once again the nervous first-time mom! I honestly don't know why I was so nervous, having seven extra sets of hands makes everything a breeze!
