One Month!
Hadley has been growing and growing and changing so much!
She gets more alert and active daily.
She is so good at tracking and making eye contact.
She coos and makes the cutest little noises.
She is on the verge of smiling (on purpose).
She loves to be held and is quite the little cuddler.
She is a good little sleeper. Since she has been born she hasn't woken more than twice in the night and for the past couple of weeks it has only been once each night! (I don't think we realize how lucky we are!)
She is very good at screaming and has quite the set of lungs on her!
She doesn't really love sleeping in her car seat unless it is moving, when she wakes up and realizes she is strapped in, it is quite traumatic!
We love her so much and can't imagine life without her!

D Day!
So here I am in my 5:30 AM pregnant glory

By 7:00 AM I was all hooked up to about a million monitors, cords, etc. I was a very good girl when they gave my the IV, I was only about 90% ready to pass out...BUT, the excellent news is, I didn't. I definitely should have earned a sticker for that.
From 9:30 - 11:30 we kicked back and watched an ESPN classic, a 1984 Celtics vs. Lakers NBA finals game (you know, looking back on it, you would have thought Kyle would have let ME pick what we should watch) but it was enough to finish me off (maybe I will get a recording of that game to play about a week earlier with my next child). When the nurse came in at noon, she happily reported that I was fully dilated!

After I confirmed, she was a girl (I am probably alway going to be skeptical of ultrasounds), the doctor exclaimed, "Wow, this is a big baby! How much do you think she weighs Kyle?" Kyle was like, "I don't know? You're the one that does this every day" Then the Dr. said, "Don't you go fishing?" I thought that was funny!
Well, here's the verdict! About as close to 9lbs as they come :)
The day couldn't have gone better. I was excited and anxious and nervous going into it, but everything just seemed to go so smoothly and ended wonderfully with a beautiful, healthy baby girl!
